The Board of Founders of the San Carlos Castle Consortium (CCSC), at its annual meeting on 16 December 2024, resolved to approve the creation of the"SAN CARLOS CASTLE CONSORTIUM AWARD" to the Restoration of the Historical Architectural Heritage of the Balearic Islands, which, on a biennial basis, aims to recognise the restoration work carried out by private individuals, regardless of the sources of funding.

The Prize shall be awarded in recognition of the meritorious work of the laureates, preferably in the form of a performance made public or presented during the two years prior to each call, or, in exceptional cases, duly motivated, in recognition of a career.
