TEMPORARY EXHIBITION Spanish Police, 200 years of symbols.

From 17 November to 16 December.

From 10h to 14h from Tuesday to Sunday.

The exhibition "Spanish Police", two hundred years of symbols, aims to show the peculiar and unknown symbology of the Government Police throughout almost two hundred years of existence.

Symbols are everything in the recent history of our country. Until a few years ago, the Spanish Government Police was that unknown and murky institution that has not had the good fortune to be publicised as it deserves to be.

The exhibition is divided into four periods;

1.- Background from 1824 to 1887, Alfonso XIII period.

2.- II Republic and Spanish Civil War. 1931 a 1936

3.- Francoism and transition. 1939 a 1989

4.- Unification of corps and National Police Corps
